Our delightful French farmhouse is situated just five minutes from the historic Omaha Beach, we are easily reached from the ports of Calais (approx 4 hours), Cherbourg 45 mins or Ouistreham (45 mins).
Our rural location makes us an ideal base to visit the D Day invasion beaches, with a wide range of museums and memorials, or to tour the whole of Normandy. We are close to the historic city of Bayeux and within easy reach of Mont St Michel and the Atlantic coast.
For the golfer, there is a choice of nearby golf courses.
Normandy is still largely undiscovered by tourists and it is a region of great contrasts.
The quiet countryside is ideal for cyclists and walkers as well as for motoring – the minimal, almost occasional traffic makes a wonderful contrast to the overcrowded roads in the UK.
Renowned for its food and drink, we are located in Calvados – home of the legendary Norman drink and in the heart of the cider making area.
